SELECTED PROJECTS — CHILDREN`S BOOKS
"Mary the Squirrel (Colours)" — is a extension of a series
of educational fairy tale games about the squirrel Mary. In this picture book, squirrel wants to draw an autumn forest, but she doesn't have enough colours. Through experiments, she gets 12 colours and shares her experience with readers.
The book teaches never to stop and go to your goal, despite
the difficulties. In addition to the 12 colours, the book also introduces the basics of colour science, such as explaining the tasks of black
and white colours and teaching the three primary colours.
The idea of this story is very close to me, because here the squirrel
is an artist! Illustrating the plot, I completely got used to the role
of Mary and experienced her story so closely that I unconsciously copied her mood. This story was special to me. In addition to the basics of colour science, the squirrel shares the most important thing: never give up and bring what you started to the end. It was this thought that turned out to be support in a difficult
time for me - I thank Mary for this!
This book is written originaly in Russian and is aimed at children between 2 to 7 years old. The book has additional worksheets with exercises that help practise the acquired knowledge.
